Pros

This MPEG-4 video recorder creates iPod-compatible 320×240 video files instantly from an attached video device. It also allows you to schedule recordings, and includes a 24-button remote control, video cables and a power supply.

Cons

You must supply your own flash card in order to record, in addition to a device to transfer the flash cards’ contents to your computer. The videos aren’t up to the standards of iTunes quality either, especially when viewed on a computer monitor. In order to properly record you must have the attached video device turned on to the correct channel; no TV tuner is included. Recording high-resolution (640×480) videos requires conversion to iPod-ready format.

iTrip FM Transmitter with Dock Connector for iPod

The latest iTrip model to be unveiled is the iTrip with Dock Connector for iPod Video, created by Griffin Technology. With a sleeker design, smaller size and easy push-button functionality, the new iTrip is an excellent choice for an iPod FM transmitter, and is compatible with all full-sized dock connector iPods.

Pros

While iPod FM transmitters are not the ideal choice when seeking good sound quality, they are most certainly a convenient means to plug-n-play your iPod in your car, home stereo or any other place place with an FM radio.

Cons

Griffin Technology claims that this model of the iTrip has the ability to transmit higher quality sound than previous versions, but the difference seems negligible.
